Nicolas T. Elsishans
Executive Vice President & COO
As COO, Nicolas T. Elsishans is in charge of the day-to-day functioning of the entire Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. He also holds the title of CFO and is responsible for overseeing the fiscal and business operations.
Vice President, Park Projects
Cathie Barner, AIA, has more than three decades of experience managing large-scale civic projects across the U.S. She currently serves as Vice President of Park Projects for the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy.
Vice President, Human Resources
As the Vice President of Human Resources, Todd Blatt is responsible for all areas of policy, benefits, recruitment, payroll, and supervisor training for the Conservancy’s 400 employees.
Chief Development Officer
Traci Eckels oversees all aspects of the Conservancy’s philanthropic efforts and serves as a member of the Conservancy’s Executive Team.
Vice President, Stewardship and Conservation
Sharon Farrell is Vice President of Stewardship and Conservation. In this role, Sharon supports many of the organization's conservation initiatives and community science, restoration, and stewardship programs.
J. Mark Jenkins, CPA, CGMA
Vice President, Finance
J. Mark Jenkins has more than 20 years of professional experience as a nonprofit financial specialist and currently serves as the Vice President of Finance for the Parks Conservancy.
Vice President, Interpretive Sales
Robert Lieber directs the Interpretive Sales program for the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, which is responsible for the exhibits and merchandise in visitor centers and stores throughout the parks, as well as their design, staffing, operation.
Vice President, Visitor Programs and Services
Nicholette Phelps, Vice President of Visitor Programs and Services, has been working in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area since 1975, when she began her career as an interpretive ranger at the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park.
Vice President, Communications & Marketing
David Shaw is Vice President of Communications & Marketing. He joined the Parks Conservancy in 2004 and has overseen communications efforts during a busy and productive time of organizational growth.
