Chelsea is the manager of the Redwood Creek Nursery, and has been working in nurseries her entire career. She has a degree in Plant Science from UC Santa Cruz and started her profession in the nursery at the UCSC Arboretum where the nursery bug first bit. She then worked as plant propagator at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden dealing exclusively with California natives grown for garden use. Next she was the nursery assistant and propagule collection specialist at the Marin Headlands Nursery where she learned the art of propagule collection for restoration.
