The Area A (Presidio Shoreline) Landscape and Maintenance Volunteer Program works to enhance the visitor experience at various sites throughout the coastal region of the Presidio. Volunteers perform a variety of tasks to help keep the public areas maintained as popular destinations for both local and worldwide visitors to use and enjoy. Projects include winter beach clean-ups, vegetation pruning, sand removal, and broad-leaf plant removal.
