Together with the City of Novato, the Environmental Forum of Marin will show the documentary Rebels with a Cause: How a Battle over Land Changed our Landscape Forever. This is the story of how a vast amount of Marin County was saved from development and how a regional California effort to save public land grew into an astonishing system of fourteen National Seashores. This is a beautiful film that conveys an inspiring truth about how ordinary individuals have the power to changes rules.
