GOGA MAINTENANCE PRESIDIO
Thursdays & Saturdays, 9 am–Noon
Help keep the Presidio shoreline beautiful! Volunteers are needed to help with vegetation management and site improvements throughout the Presidio of San Francisco. Projects include litter removal, weeding invasive plants, vegetation pruning, sand removal, painting, site improvements, and trail maintenance. Project locations encompass various historic and scenic sites including East Beach, Crissy Airfield, Golden Gate Promenade, West Bluffs, Historic Batteries along Coastal Bluffs, Baker Beach, China Beach, and Lobos Creek.

Groups
Groups of five or more may require special arrangements. Fill out the Group Project Request Form or contact us for more information. Group projects must be

Age/Skills/What
to Bring
- Volunteers ages 10 and up are welcome. Read our Youth and Family Guidelines Policy (PDF) for youth under the age of 15.
- No experience necessary. Training and tools will be provided.
Ability to do manual physical labor, lift and move objects, repeatedly
kneel and bend at the waist, and learn to use a variety of hand tools.
Fulfills community service requirements.
- Bring the appropriate waiver forms (see below).
- Please wear clothes that can get dirty, long pants, closed-toe
shoes, layers for changing weather, and rain gear if necessary. Also,
bring a personal water bottle and sunscreen.

- Youth/Adult:
Complete the volunteer waiver (PDF). Volunteers under the age of 18
must have the parent/guardian approval section signed.
