Help restore native habitat throughout the Parks. We've propagated nearly 160,000 native plants in our Nurseries and now it's time to get the plants in the ground before the rainy season ends. We need your help! We have ongoing restoration projects throughout San Mateo, San Francisco, and Marin counties where there are lots of planting projects underway and many plants yet to be planted. Endangered Species Big Year Events
Join Park Stewardship and Wild Equity Institute in the 2010 Endangered Species Big Year! Get to know the endangered species of the Golden Gate National Parks while helping to restore vital habitat for them to thrive in. Sites include San Francisco, Marin, and San Mateo County.

Need to fulfill service credits at your school? Use your day off as a day on and celebrate the holiday by helping restore your National Park. These projects are just for teens so come with friends, classmates, or your school club. April is Service Month!
Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day, as well as the National Park and Volunteer Weeks, all month long in the Golden Gate National Parks. With Spring upon us, we have many projects throughout the parks and we need your help! We have activities suitable for everyone, including trail work, habitat restoration, weeding and vegetation management, growing plants, beach clean-ups and more. Regularly scheduled and group programs are available at park sites in Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo counties. It's fun, it's healthy, and it makes a difference. Golden Gate Trail Season Kickoff

Celebrate a new season trail work and join the Trails Forever Team and our Golden Gate trail crew of volunteers. Starting in April and continuing every 3rd Saturday of the month, help repair, maintain and enhance trails, and protect sensitive natural habitat throughout the Golden Gate National Parks.
