No Program: Sept 4, 2010
Come join the restoration efforts of the Green Team! The Fort Funston Nursery, one of the five native plant nurseries in the Golden Gate National Parks, grows an impressive 25,000 plants a year. This is largely due to our dedicated volunteer base. By working at Fort Funston, volunteers participate in a variety of activities, including seed collection, propagation, transplanting, pruning, outplanting (winter only), and weeding.
Individuals and Families: Register for this program. Drop-in individuals are welcome.
Groups: Schedule a private program for groups of 5 or more. Contact us if you would like to register a group. Group projects must be confirmed in advance.
