Tennessee Valley Nursery & Stewardship
Aim High students at the Tennessee Valley Nursery

Tuesdays, 10 am-Noon (field work) & 1-4 pm (nursery work)

Volunteer with the Tennessee Valley Native Plant Nursery and join our efforts to restore native habitat in the Golden Gate National Parks. The Tennessee Valley Nursery grows plants for over a dozen restoration sites in the park from Olema to the Marin Headlands. Our dedicated volunteers also help improve habitat by removing invasive plants from our restoration sites. As a volunteer, you will learn about local native species and the importance of restoration ecology. Activities include invasive plant removal, outplanting (winter season only), transplanting seedlings, pruning, and seed collection.

Individuals and Families: Register for this program. Drop-in individuals are welcome. Please RSVP one day in advance, so we know to wait for you before heading out into the field. We work at different locations and may need to give you directions.

Groups: Schedule a private program for groups of 5 or more. Contact us if you would like to register a group. Group projects must be confirmed in advance.
