TENNESSEE VALLEY NURSERY & STEWARDSHIP
Tuesdays, 10 am–Noon (fieldwork), 1–4 pm (nursery work)
Join in efforts to
restore native habitat in the Golden Gate National Parks. The Tennessee
Valley Nursery grows plants for over a dozen restoration sites in the
park from Olema to the Marin Headlands. Our dedicated volunteers also
help improve habitat by removing invasive plants from our restoration
sites. As a volunteer, you will learn about local native species and the
importance of restoration ecology. Activities include invasive plant
removal, winter planting, transplanting seedlings,
pruning, and seed collection.
