As Urban Trailblazers, bay area middle school youth spend the summer learning about environmental issues through hands-on workshops, field trips, and service projects while gaining valuable skills on their "first job." Learn More
In our Urban Environmental School Programs, students in grades 6 through 8 have the opportunity to investigate ecosystems of their urban national park and the "living classroom" setting of Crissy Field Center's new state of teh art facility. All programs support California State Academic Standards.
Community and School groups can invite a National Park Ranger to your site for an interactive presentation and hands-on activities; then take a memorable field trip to the Presidio in our People to Parks and Parks to People programs.
