HOLD YOUR MEETING AT FORT BAKER
The Institute is pleased to welcome environmentally-focused groups to our partner venue, Cavallo Point-the Lodge at the Golden Gate, through a special Institute meeting package rate. Our LEED certified campus at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge is on 45-acres of land at Fort Baker, within the Golden Gate National Parks. Cavallo Point Lodge is an inspiring location for advancing dialogue, collaboration, and action.
The Special Institute Group Rate
Through a special arrangement with the National Park Service, qualifying groups may apply to receive a special Institute group rate for lodging, meeting space, and meal packages at Cavallo Point Lodge.
All organizations interested in receiving this rate must:
- Be a nonprofit, government, or cross-sector institution hosting an event focused on environmental issues. For-profit businesses may be eligible for the special rate.
- Select a date between November 1 and April 30 (holiday weekends excluded).
- Host an overnight event with a minimum of 10 lodging rooms per night.
- Conduct a conference, meeting or event that aligns with the Institute's mission and has broad potential for impact in serving a diverse audience.
- Commit to widely disseminating conference outcomes and results via the Institute web site.
- Submit a Program Qualification Application online.
The Institute group rate is based on the annual government per diem rate at the time of
your event. Availability of the special rate is limited and subject to Institute approval. Please contact the Institute at nkluge@instituteatgoldengate.org or (415) 561-3559 to learn more about eligibility and complete details.
