Fort Funston Nursery > The Fort Funston Nursery works to restore native dune habitats that once proliferated on the San Francisco peninsula.

Marin Headlands Nursery > The Marin Headlands Nursery collects native plant seed from the Fort Baker and Rodeo Valley watersheds to grow for habitat restoration projects in those areas of the park.

Presidio Nursery > The Presidio Nursery has become a leader in the study of seed germination and growing techniques for San Francisco natives, and has also played an important role in cataloging all botanical survey data for the Presidio.

Redwood Creek Nursery > As of 2009, the Redwood Creek Nursery has been growing plants to restore the lagoon and creek at Muir Beach to an ecologically and historically accurate habitat.

Tennessee Valley Nursery > Tennessee Valley Nursery supports planning efforts, removes invasive plant populations, collects seeds, manages plant propagation, plants, and maintains and monitors projects in the Tennessee Valley watershed.

Yearly Accomplishments
Between our five nurseries in the Golden Gate National Parks, yearly accomplishments include:
- Collecting over 1 million seeds.
- Propagating over 400 of the 622 species native to Golden Gate National Parks.
- Growing 90,000 to 170,000 plants, for up to 50 different habitat restoration projects throughout the 75,000 acres of the parks.
