The Park Stewardship program engages a vibrant community of park stewards in the conservation of priority parklands within the Golden Gate National Parks. Whether by protecting endangered species, restoring historic features, or improving trails, community support and hands-on education is the key to ensuring the long-term protection of these unique park sites.

Park Stewardship

About Park Stewardship >
In partnership with the National Park Service and Presidio Trust, our program supports restoration and community engagement efforts throughout the Golden Gate National Parks.

Get Involved >
For Park Stewardship programs to continue to thrive and grow, your support is needed. Volunteer with us! It’s fun, it’s healthy, it makes a HUGE difference, and it’s easy to get started.

Youth Programs >
The Park Stewardship program works to educate and engage youth through a range of service, learning, and internship opportunities using the parklands as hands-on interactive classrooms.

Science and Conservation >
In addition to our work in youth education and community engagement, the Park Stewardship program is grounded within a broader framework of science and conservation.
