Andy Goldsworthy, Tree Fall

Andy Goldsworthy’s installation Tree Fall

Ongoing | Free | Docent tours Saturday and Sunday, 10am4 p.m

Tree Fall is presented by the partnership of the Presidio Trust, the FOR-SITE Foundation.

Joining two other works Spire and Woodline is Tree Fall, the first indoor installation Goldsworthy created for the Presidio. Constructed out of a removed tree trunk from the Presidio Parkway project, this piece introduces the theme of the underground. This creative experience creates a new natural world of cracked clay and winding branches that suspend above your head, uprooting the earth so that we are below ground.

Tree Fall tours are also available during the week by appointment. For reservations, call (415) 561-5300.
