TRANSIT TO THE PARKS
Public Transportation to the Parks
The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy and the National Park Service urge visitors to use public transportation to get to the park’s many sites.
We recommend taking MUNI, Golden Gate Transit, SamTrans, or the PresidioGo shuttle to avoid full parking lots, which will fill up early in the day, and to spend more time in the parks.
For information on transit options, go to www.511.org and follow links below for transit providers.
GoogleMap links to key access points in all our park sites are located in the top-right of all our Visit the Parks site pages. GoogleMaps provide driving directions and a variety of user-controlled views. To visit a site, use the pull-down menu at the left of this page.
