volunteer; trails; women's trail day

Come work alongside members of the NPS Trail Crew in Muir Woods! Anyone who identifies as a woman, non-binary or gender-nonconforming is welcome to join this safe (and gorgeous!) space.

Did you know that boardwalks are trails too? Join us for a family friendly women's trail day this year as we pick up our deck flossers to clear debris from the boardwalk that protects the forest floor and guides thousands of visitors through the redwood groves each year. Our efforts will lengthen the life of the boardwalk and provide for an all ages and skills opportunity to work in this iconic location.

When: Saturday, April 6th; 9:30am-12:30pm. Registration Required

Meeting Location: Meet in the entrance plaza near the visitor's center. Parking vouchers will be provided for participants.

  • All ages welcome; Volunteers under the age of 15 need parent/guardian supervision. Read our Youth Policy Guidelines (PDF).
