Two coyotes

The health and safety of our members, park visitors, program participants, volunteers, interns, and staff is our top priority. Due to the "shelter in place" orders announced for the six Bay Area counties through at least May 3, 2020, we will be canceling the rest of our member events for the spring season. Please continue to check our website for updates. If you have any questions or concerns, please call our membership line at 415-561-3060, or email us at membership@parksconservancy.org.

Join us for a walk through the Presidio with expert David Harelson to learn about the Presidio’s wildlife management strategies. On this 1.5-mile hike, you’ll learn about the Presidio’s family of coyotes and how they live and thrive in an urban environment, as well as the ways that the Presidio Trust monitors their population and keeps them safe.

Parking and Public Transportation Options:

-Take the PresidiGo Downtown Shuttle, which provides roundtrip service to the Presidio. Pick up the shuttle at the Transbay Terminal or Embarcadero BART.

-Take SF MUNI. MUNI 43 now offers service directly into the Presidio, stopping at the Presidio Transit Center on the Main Post.
-Pay-and-Display pay station. The cost for parking permits range between $1.80 - $2.50/hour and between $9 - $11/day. These prices are based on the location and day of the week. All pay stations accept credit and debit cards, and many accept coins.

Registration opens on May 6.
