Would you like to count raptors on Hawk Hill with the GGRO? Join us at one of our volunteer recruitment meetings to get an overview of what volunteering as a GGRO hawkwatcher entails. If you cannot attend a meeting, please call the office or email ggro@parksconservancy.org to request a volunteer application packet and training schedule.
Volunteers must be able to commit to one regular, full field day in the Marin Headlands every two weeks between mid-August through early December; all training is provided. Hawkwatchers must either be 18 years of age OR have an adult guardian volunteering with them.
All three meetings are the same. Please choose one to attend. (Click on a meeting to register to receive a reminder email a few days before the meeting.) Meetings will be held:
- Tuesday, April 25 from 7-9 pm >>
- Thursday, April 27 from 7-9 pm >>
- Saturday, April 29 from 10 am-12 pm >>
These recruitment meetings will be held at the Crissy Field Center at East Beach in the Presidio - look for a big GGRO sign. Free parking is available but public transportation and/or biking encouraged!
