When: Saturday, April 20, 2024, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Where: Sky Oaks Watershed Headquarters, Fairfax

On April 20, One Tam is hosting an in-person training for the California Bumble Bee Atlas, a collaborative community science effort organized by the Xerces Society to track and conserve California’s native bumble bees and contribute to the global understanding of bumble bee distributions. During this training, participants will:

  • Learn more about the Atlas and how to survey bumble bees for the project.
  • Dive into bumble bee ecology and biology and observe them in the field.
  • Spend time outdoors with a group of nature-loving folks!

We hope to see you there for a great day learning and bumble bee appreciation!
