Pirates Cove, and its associated California Coastal Trail segment, offer stunning ocean views and secluded serenity.
In 2006, improvements along this Coastal Trail route enhanced public access to this special area year-round, particularly during the wet winter months.
In an effort to maintain continuous coastal scrub habitat, another key project action was controlling the highly invasive pampas grass that had colonized the cliff faces.
