Bay Area Ridge Trail at the Presidio

The Bay Area Ridge Trail is one of four regional trails crossing the Presidio. Upgrades to this major trail thoroughfare will be implemented in several phases.
The first phase, completed in 2005–2006, established a new segment of trail between the Cemetery Overlook and Compton Road.
The recently completed second phase provides an accessible connection between Rob Hill Campground and the Pacific Overlook and Coastal Trail.
