This introduction to Collaboration Technology in Environmental Collaboration and Conflict Resolution (ECCR) is an intensive, hands-on workshop in which ECCR facilitators, public agencies, and stakeholders will become familiar with the range of technologies useful in public engagement and decision making associated with ECCR.
This course is an intensive, interactive workshop focused on collaboration technology as a core skill needed by environmental professionals and stakeholders dealing with complex environmental issues. A conceptual model for integrating appropriate technologies with collaborative processes provides the framework for practice in applying a technology-based toolset to real world situations. Participants build skills through a series of scenario-based exercises, including complex, environmental conflict-based settings. This course introduces hands-on experience with online tools that are currently available to aid collaborative efforts addressing environmental issues.
The U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution is delighted to offer this course to ECCR facilitators, public agencies, and stakeholders. The U.S. Institute brings this training opportunity to the Institute at the Golden Gate in partnership with the National Park Service.
