In preparation for Valentine's Day, The Marine Mammal Center celebrates love and Marine Mammal Parents and Pups in a fun, educational way for kids and adults. Tours at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm of the hospital showcase some of the patients in our care and how veterinarians are getting them better. Classroom presentations at 12 pm and 2 pm highlight the special dating habits of marine mammals, including how gray whales only date when on vacation to Baja California, elephant seals fight for their girlfriends, and showcase how unbelievably cute marine mammal babies are!
Classroom programs and self-guided tours are free (suggested $5 donation). Small fee applies for guided tours and audio tours.
No RSVP needed for classes or self-guided visits. For more details and to RSVP for Guided Tours, visit www.marinemammalcenter.eventbrite.com.
