Let's make trash extinct! Pitch in for California Coastal Cleanup Day and lend a hand throughout the Golden Gate National Parks and greater Bay Area!


1. Choose a Site and Register. Volunteers of all ages are welcome.

  • Individuals, families, and small groups: register online below.
  • Groups of 20 or more volunteers: please call (415) 561-3077 or email to register.

 2. Cleanup Sites: View map or choose by location below.

 3. On Saturday, 9/15 at 9 am, arrive at the cleanup site with:

  • Youth Volunteers (18 and under) - Bring a parent signed waiver: English waiver (PDF) | Spanish waiver (PDF).
  • Proper clothingclosed-toe shoes (no sandals), sunscreen, hat, and layers.
  • Your own reusable supplies! Limit waste by bringing your own bag or bucket, gloves, and water bottle if you have them. CONSERVE–BYO this year!

 4. Learn more about Coastal Cleanup Day.


We need more people here! Nearly 80% of the trash we collect in San Francisco comes from the East side.
