Join us on Saturday, April 22 to celebrate Earth Day in the Golden Gate National Parks! We'll be hosting a variety of projects from San Mateo to Marin ranging from habitat restoration to trail mainentance to beach cleanups. Please see opportunities below and register.

Mori Point Stewardship More Help Needed Here!
As a part of the annual Pacifia Earth Day event, the San Mateo team will be hosting special service project at Mori Point. After the project, join the EcoFest celebration at Linda Mar State Beach.
Family friendly; Volunteers ages 8 and up welcome with chaperone.

Fort Funston Nursery
Volunteer at one for the national park's native plant nurseries, where native plants are grown for habitat restoraiton sites throughout the park.

Join us for a day of service at Lands End! We'll be focused on habitat restoration, park maintenance projects, trail repair, and more.

Ocean Beach Cleanup
Help clean up San Francisco's coastline on Earth Day at Ocean Beach. Bring the family and participate in the National Park Service's Junior Ranger Program.

Love the bay by joining Aquarium of the Bay and SF Maritime National Historic Park for a community cleanup.

Presidio Earth Day
Join us for the Presidio’s annual volunteer Earth Day celebration! Presidio volunteers are invited to bring friends and family for a morning of stewardship projects followed by a BBQ potluck. Please contact volunteer@presidiotrust.gov with questions.

Rodeo Beach Cleanup More Help Needed Here!
Join us in scenic Rodeo Valley for a beach and park cleanup. Stay the afternoon for a picnic, hike the trails, and visit nearby historic sites!

**Note: This event is on Sunday, April 23rd.

Care for the coast and create art at the Create-With-Nature Earth Day Celebration at Stinson Beach. This is an annual event great for the family.

Join the One Tam team at the Mountain Theater atop lovely Mt. Tam for a morning of service.

Age, Skills, What to Bring:

  • We will offer a variety of projects appropriate for a range of ages and abilities.
  • No experience necessary—we provide all the training and tools.
  • Bring just yourself, your family, friends, or ask us about how to sign up a group.
  • We'll be working rain or shine. Wear clothes that can get dirty. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required. Bring layers for changing weather and rain gear if necessary.
  • Bring a personal water bottle and sunscreen.
