One Tam, Many Wildflowers: WKS Lake Lagunitas Loop Hike

Saturday, March 28, 10:00am-1:00pm

Join fellow William Kent Society members to explore early spring on the north side of Mount Tamalpais! Led by Marin Municipal Water District Watershed Manager, Mike Swezy, we’ll discover the treasures of the mountain, including some of Tam’s early wildflowers (Indian warrior, zigadene, shooting stars, irises, and many more). We’ll also learn about the exciting new OneTam initiative, a partnership of the Parks Conservancy and Mt. Tam’s four land management agencies. This hike is an easy 3.5-mile loop hike with a few short, steep stretches, and begins at  the Lagunitas Picnic Area. Lunch will be provided following the hike.

To RSVP, contact Lindsay White at lwhite@parksconservancy.org or (415) 561-3051.
