CAMPING AT THE PRESIDIO (CAP)
Our mission is to provide meaningful gateway camping experiences to children and youth who traditionally have not visited national parks.
What was your most memorable outdoor experience? Roasting your first marshmallow? Discovering that you could hike up that big mountain? Or was it seeing the Milky Way for the first time?
If you have ever been camping, then you know the power of that experience. We invite you and your youth to see, hear, smell, touch, and taste your national park. Gaze at the vistas of the Pacific Ocean and the Golden Gate Bridge. Hear the wind rustling through the fallen leaves. Smell salty ocean air. Hug one of the soft-barked redwood trees.
Through Camping at the Presidio, you have the unique opportunity to create new and lasting memories with the youth you serve.
What we provide:

Camping at the Presidio is a partnership of the Golden Gate Parks Conservancy, National Park Service, Presidio Trust and Bay Area Wilderness Training.
