Habitat Restoration Team 
When: Sundays, 9:30 am–2:30 pm
Where: Marin, locations vary
Help restore and monitor critical natural areas from the Marin Headlands to Bolinas Ridge.

Tennessee Valley Tuesday Stewards
When: 1st, 3rd, & 5th Tuesdays, 10 am–2 pm
Where: Tennessee Valley, locations vary
Get your hands dirty while restoring and protecting Tennessee Valley's native plant communities.

Invasive Plant Patrol
When: Wednesdays, 10 am–2:30 pm
Where: Marin, locations vary
Hiking with a mission – help find and remove new infestations of invasive weeds while exploring the parks.

Presidio Habitat Stewards 
When: Saturdays, 9 am–Noon; 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, 9 am–Noon
Where: Presidio of San Francisco
Help restore natural areas and create important wildlife corridors in the Presidio of San Francisco.

San Francisco Habitat Stewards
When: Wednesdays, 9 am–Noon; Thursdays, 1–4 pm
Where: National Park lands in San Francisco
Help restore and preserve the natural areas of Fort Funston, Lands End, and the Presidio of San Francisco.

Rancho Habitat Stewards
When: 3rd Sundays, 9:30 am–12:30 pm 
Where: National Park lands in Rancho Corral de Tierra, San Mateo County
Help protect the unique coastal grasslands of Rancho Corral de Tierra and the endangered species that call them home. 

Alcatraz Historic Gardens 
When: Wednesdays and Thursday, 8 am–Noon
Help restore and maintain gardens once tended by the island’s military and penitentiary residents—add life, color, and vibrancy to the Rock.
 
Black Point Historic Gardens 
When: Thursdays, 2–5 pm, and Fridays, 9 am–Noon; 1st Saturdays, 10 am–1 pm
Where: Fort Mason, San Francisco
Help us restore the long-neglected gardens of East Black Point, a spectacular park site tucked away above the bustling San Francisco waterfront.

Presidio Forest Stewards 
When: Fridays, 9 am–Noon
Where: Presidio of San Francisco
Help tend to the health of the Presidio’s historic forests, as well as repair and maintain the park trails and pathways.

Presidio Tunnel Tops Stewards  [The Tunnel Tops program is temporarily on hold, please check back soon for updates.]
When: 3rd Tuesdays, 1–3 pm
Where: Presidio Tunnel Tops in the Presidio of San Francisco
Help care for the landscaped areas at the Presidio Tunnel Tops.

Golden Gate Historic Landscaping and Maintenance
When: Thursdays, 9 am–Noon
Where: Lands End, Crissy Field, Baker Beach, and Ocean Beach
Help protect and beautify the historic landscapes and cultural resources throughout national park lands in San Francsico.

Fort Mason Historic Landscaping and Maintenance
When: Tuesdays, 9 am–Noon
Where: Upper Fort Mason –  San Francisco, CA
Help restore and maintain historic landscapes and cultural resources throughout Fort Mason.

Marin Headlands Nursery
When: 3rd Wednesdays, 1–4 pm; one Saturday per month
Where: Marin Headlands Nursery
Come grow with us! The Marin Headlands Nursery team grows plants to preserve and restore the Marin Headlands and beyond.

Presidio Nursery
When: Wednesdays (commitment required) and one Saturday per month (open program)
Where: Presidio Nursery
Learn to grow and care for native plants from seed, while helping to preserve and restore your national park.

Ocean Beach Clean-ups [The Ocean Beach Clean-up program is temporarily on hold, please check back soon for updates.]
When: First Saturday of the month; 10 am–1 pm 
Where: Ocean Beach; locations vary
Help conserve beautiful Ocean Beach by joining us at a monthly beach clean-up!

Muir Beach Clean-ups
When: Second Thursday of the month, 9:30 am–12:30 pm
Where: Muir Beach
Join us monthly to help keep Muir Beach clean and protect surrounding habitats.
