When: 3rd Wednesdays (registration by email), 1–4 pm; one Saturday per month, 9:30am-12:30pm |

Where: Marin Headlands Nursery

Come grow with us! The Marin Headlands Nursery team of staff and volunteers grow plants to preserve and restore the Marin Headlands and beyond.

Volunteers ensure that each plant gets the care it needs to thrive. Depending on the week and season, volunteers may be transplanting seedlings, pruning plants, processing seeds for the next growing season, maintaining the facility, or doing other fun outdoor activities.

The Marin Headlands Nursery has an evolving and welcoming group of "Regulars" who come on Wednesday afternoons. If you're looking to join this community, we're asking for a loose commitment of about six Wednesday afternoons ideally within one year of joining. This group is dedicated to nuturing community and caring for one another, which may include masking and socially distancing more than you may see elsewhere. To join us, please email Robin Binaoro at Rbinaoro@parksconservancy.org  to be invited to our next new Wednesday volunteer date.

All visitors are welcome to enjoy the nursery’s demonstration garden, which is a treasure trove of native plants.

Groups of five or more require special arrangements and must be confirmed in advance. Please review the List of Available Projects and fill out the Group Project Request Form.
