Conservancy Staff

Claire Mooney, PLA, ASLA, LEED AP, is the Vice President, Park Projects & Conservation with the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. Claire provides leadership to the Conservancy's Park Projects & Design, Park Nurseries, and Innovation & Impact teams.

Janet Klein is Vice President of Community Connections for the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. She supports four teams—Volunteer and Intern Services, Community Stewardship and Engagement, Conservation and Community Science, and Youth Programs—in creating opportunities for public participation in the exploration and care of our parks.

Kerry O’Donnell is the Chief People and Culture Officer for the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. Together with the People and Culture team, she supports the development and implementation of employee strategies in alignment with the organization’s mission, values and vision.

Beatrice Kilat was a Media & Public Affairs Manager for the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy's Marketing and Communications Team.

Alex Grant was an Editorial Content Specialist for the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy's Marketing and Communications Team.

Kelsie joined GGRO as Operations Manager in 2018 after two years with the Parks Conservancy’s Development Department. As Membership Coordinator for the Conservancy, she worked closely with GGRO Director Allen Fish on GGRO fundraising strategy and initiatives, learning the ins and outs of the program, its mission, and its goals.

Chris Lehnertz is President & CEO of the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. She brings extensive experience managing some of America’s most iconic national parks and a passion for making parks relevant and accessible to all communities.

Angela Leung is the Parks Conservancy’s Chief Communications & Public Affairs Officer, responsible for amplifying our mission through communications, community engagement, and commemorating advancements with key partners and Parks Conservancy subject matter experts.

Maritte O'Gallagher started as a Science Communications Intern for the National Park Service in October 2017 and is now a Science Communications Assistant for the Parks Conservancy.

Peter Hockaday joined the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy in summer 2018 as Director of Editorial Content & Strategy.
