Why do plants have so many names? Join National Park Service intern Carmen Chan as you look high and low to search for various plants around the Presidio.  During this program you will explore the history that comes with the names of some plants along with the history that changed the landscape of the Presidio to what it is today. This 1/2 mile walking tour starts at the Presidio Visitor Center and ends at Crissy Field Marsh, lasting about 1.5 hours.  Wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket in case of wind.  Suitable for all ages, no reservations required.
