
Francisco Ferrer Program Coordinator, Edgewood Center for Children & Families Many residents of the Bayview and Visitacion Valley neighborhoods of San Francisco have never been in a forest — let alone a national park, according to Francisco Ferrer, a program coordinator for Edgewood Center for Children & Families.
The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy and the National Park Service urge visitors to use public transportation to get to the park’s many sites.
