Angela Leung is Vice President of Marketing and Communications, responsible for developing and executing the Conservancy’s strategic communications efforts. Along with serving as an ambassador and spokesperson for the organization, Angela leads a range of public relations and marketing activities, from brand-building to digital storytelling and media relations.

Angela’s career has involved leadership roles at the intersections of the public, private and nonprofit sectors, including initiatives related to corporate responsibility, environmental sustainability, conservation and disaster relief. Angela previously served as Senior Director, Corporate Responsibility and Public Affairs at Cox Enterprises; Director of Global Public Affairs at Gap Inc.; Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at The Asia Foundation; and Law & Corporate Affairs Communications Manager at Microsoft. She received her BA and BS from Boston University.

Angela is an active user and passionate fan of the Golden Gate National Parks. She enjoys taking her golden retriever puppy, Blaise, to Crissy Field for regular swims in the Bay, and out-of-town guests on Lands End or Marin Headlands hikes. Although she has lived in the Bay Area for many years, vistas of the Golden Gate Bridge and fog still take her breath away.
