Description: Come and join us for a fun and educational morning of bird watching at Crissy Field Center! Discover the diverse bird species that call the Presidio home and learn about the unique ecosystems they inhabit. This beginner-friendly session will explore how birds tell the story of the landscape they live in and how we can connect with them.

Bring your own binoculars if you have them—if not, we've got you covered with loaner pairs available on-site.

1 mile loop starting from and ending at Crissy Field Center, flat dirt ground & pavement.

Age, Skills, What to Bring: who is your target audience, what should participants come prepared with?

From novice birdwatcher to expert, this program is for all ages and skill sets! Bring binoculars if you have them, come prepared with layers as it does get cold at times in the Presidio.

All ages welcome! Come ready to explore, learn, and be inspired by incredible biodiversity we have right here in the Bay Area.

La caminata es de menos de 2 millas, comenzando y terminando en el Crissy Field Center. El terreno es plano, con senderos de tierra y pavimento

Edad, experiencia, y qué traer: 

No tienes que tener conocimiento o experiencia observando pájaros! Este programa es para todas las edades y niveles de experiencia! Si tienes binoculares, tráelos.
