John Muir Laws, Nature Journal Club, Drawing Trees Part 1

Let’s Draw Trees! Over the next few months we will explore ways of drawing trees. This month we start up-close with leaves and branches. Fall is a fun time to look at leaves and after the leaves have fallen, each species has unique leaf scars and buds. Say goodby to the generic branch under the feet of your birds and discover how to compellingly capture the nuance of local species.

Bring your sketchbook, pencils, and a few leaves leaves and cool branches (nothing too big).

All ages and experience levels are welcome. $20 suggested donation.
