For Members: Fort Mason History Walk

Parks Conservancy
Explore Fort Mason’s charming walkways and discover the complex history of this tiny military post. Along the way we’ll see Gold Rush cottages, army barracks and warehouses from 1860, a Civil War cannon battery, World War II troop embarkation piers, and the site of the “Joy Zone” from the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition. We’ll end the walk at the popular “Off the Grid” food truck event.
Registration for this event will open at 9 am on August 14. Please return to this page to register at that time.
