Join us on Tuesday, November 15, from 1 – 2:30 pm for Legacy of Hope: Sparking Scientific Curiosity in partnership with the California Academy of Sciences.

How can education spark scientific curiosity in the next generation?

As we lean into our strategic plan goals, we are focusing on climate resilience as well as social and environmental justice. Looking to the next generation that will move this work in the future, we ask ourselves: how can we lead learning that sparks scientific curiosity in our communities?

Legacy of Hope: Sparking Scientific Curiosity features Francis Taroc, the Conservancy's Senior Specialist of Environmental Science Education at the Crissy Field Center, and the Academy’s Interim Roberts-Wilson Dean of Education and Director of Public Programs and Academy Volunteers, Amy Miller. From the teams working to keep science learning relevant, engaging, cutting-edge, interesting, and real, we will hear how both organizations are developing programs to inspire environmental stewards for today and the future.

This event will be offered in a hybrid format—you are welcome to join in person at the Academy or via Zoom, whichever way is most comfortable or convenient for you.
