Join Alcatraz Gardens Project Manager Shelagh Fritz to learn about the preservation process of a unique cultural landscape and become more familiar with heirloom plants on the island and stewardship of the gardens today. Starting with the 8:20 am (free) staff boat to Alcatraz, we'll visit historic garden locations of the island, as well as the current Florilegium exhibit.
