The Marin Municipal Water District, in partnership with One Tam, is exploring the next chapter for Mt. Tam’s West Peak. Hear from the project team, as well as artists and ecologists, inspired by the potential of its restoration. Learn how these factors are incorporated into a community-based design process to chart a path forward for West Peak.

This lecture is the first of a four-part series accompanying an interactive exhibition, “From Base to Peak”, in partnership with the Marin Art & Garden Center, that captures the compelling history and ecological value of West Peak, details the plan to enhance unique plant communities, and allows visitors to take in the breathtaking views and learn more about the ecology and history of the mountain. The Exhibition runs January 19-March 9 in The Studio at the Marin Art & Garden Center. To purchase tickets and for more information, please visit https://magc.org/events/restoring-west-peak/.
