Start your adventure on Mt. Tam with a visit to the Tam Van, our mobile visitor center. Meet our stuffed badger specimen and learn about this beautiful animal from up close; test your animal ID skills and win prizes and animal tattoos; learn how to join our wildlife camera study; learn about the rare foothill yellow-legged frogs in Carson Falls and how to protect them; get maps and general information about Mt. Tam.

Navigate to “Azalea Hill trail” in google maps, located above Fairfax-- the Tam Van will be located at the intersection of Bolinas-Fairfax Road and Pine Mountain Fire Road. Parking can fill up on sunny weekend afternoons.
