A California pollinator explores a brilliant yellow flower.

When: Saturday, June 22, 2024, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Where: By the stairs outside the Field Station at Presidio Tunnel Tops in the Presidio of San Francisco

Registration is not required–feel free to drop by anytime between 10 a.m.-3 p.m.!

Join us outside the Field Station at Presidio Tunnel Tops to close out National Pollinator Week by celebrating the diversity of our beloved winged friends! Come learn more about the lives of our very special native California pollinators and how you can help protect them. We'll have fun activities for all ages–pollinator art, nature observation, educational games, face painting, snacks, and a scavenger hunt!

Weather can be variable in the Presidio, so we recommend bringing layers in case of fog/wind, and a hat/sunscreen in case it's sunny. Heavy rain will cancel this program. The site is wheelchair-accessible, and gender-neutral, wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are available on-site. For more information on accessibility at Presidio Tunnel Tops, please visit Access and Inclusion at Presidio Tunnel Tops | The Presidio (San Francisco).

This event is fully outdoors, so masks will be optional, but please tune into the others around you and mask up when approaching anyone else wearing a mask.

The Golden Gate National Parks programming is a cooperative parkwide effort of the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, the National Park Service, and the Presidio Trust.
