(Canceled) How and Why We Control Invasives in the Park - Talk and Field Workshop!

Why and How We Control Invasives in the Park Workshop
Controlling invasive plants in the park is a big part of maintaining the valuable natural resources at Golden Gate National Parks.

Park Staff

Join Chrissy Sullivan (Natural Resource Specialist, Tennessee Valley) for this informative and interesting class on something we should all be aware of: the threats posed to the parks by invasive plants. Learn results of research within the park showing negative effects to habitat value when non-native invasive plants are introduced, and discover how we prioritize and control the most detrimental species. Class will start with a presentation, followed by working on a project in the field.
