Listen to the sounds of environmental justice in San Francisco

Youth in the Urban Trailblazers program on a hike through the Presidio.

Youth at the Crissy Field Center have become podcasting pros, and you can hear their work on your way to work!

Middle Schoolers from the Urban Trailblazers program have finished up their podcast called “Serve the Sounds.” They explore how different places are impacted by gentrification, natural disasters, climate change and more. They ask what “environmental justice” really looks like for diverse and marginalized people. The podcast amplifies San Francisco’s youth communities as they explore the question: Are all communities affected by environmental changes in the same ways at the same time?
