Belonging in Nature: Queer and Trans in the Nurseries

Caring for plants at the nursery.

Paul Myers / Parks Conservancy

When: Saturday, December 5th, 2026, 9am – 12pm

Where: Presidio Nursery; Registration Required.

Find community and grow with us at a native plant nursery program hosted by an all-queer staff! The dedication and support of our volunteers are vital to ensure that each plant can get the care it needs to thrive. Our volunteer programs involve something different each season and activities may include transplanting seedlings, pruning plants, processing seeds for the next growing season, maintaining the facility, or additional tasks that are fun and outdoors!

Please contact ibyhagrre@cnexfpbafreinapl.betgro.ycnavresnocskrap@reetnulov with any accessibility needs or questions. All community members are welcome at this event.
