Key Field Marks: large buteo-like Accipiter; light eye-line; wavy tail bands; long straight tail (“flying stovepipe”)
Flight: flap-flap-glide similar to Redshoulder, soars on level wings, heavy, deep, and labored with pointed tips in active flight
