College Programs - CCSF

Are you interested in supporting the natural world while learning about nature’s relationships, getting to know your fellow classmates, and having fun in your local national park? Join us for a morning of stewardship and connection to help build a resilient home for the park’s many local plants and animals. You can either meet us in the park or take the free Lyft carpool from the CCSF Science Hall (limited spots available, please meet at the top of the stairs). We will provide drinks and snacks!

Below are the opportunities available for Spring Semester 2026, including a little description of the site.

Upcoming Volunteer Days
Please follow these steps to register for a project:

1. Browse the schedule of upcoming volunteer days below.
2. Click the 'Select a Date & Time' drop-down menu on the registration form. Each volunteer day will have 2 registration options - one for joining the Lyft carpool from CCSF (limited spots available) and another for getting to the site yourself.
3. Select the appropriate option for the project you'd like to attend, fill out the form, and click the 'Register' button.
4. Please note - if you are taking the CCSF Lyft carpool, meet next to the STEAM building prior to the designated departure time (see specific programs for exact times). Please arrive early to ensure you won't miss the Lyft ride, as the driver will not be able to wait for late arrivals.

  Join us for epic ocean views and to care for native plant seedlings that were planted this winter. 
   
• Thursday, March 5th - Mori Point, 10 am-1 pm (Shuttle departure at 9:30 am) - Register here.
  Come to Mori Point to care for the habitat of the rare California red-legged frog and endangered San Francisco Garter Snake. 
   
• Saturday, March 21st - Lands End, 10 am-1 pm (Shuttle departure at 9:15 am) - Register here.  
  Join us for epic ocean views and to care for native plant seedlings that were planted this winter.
