Love Your Parks Day

It's the "month of love" and we are celebrating by hosting "Love Your Parks Day" at Lands End! The winter rains are a time to plant native plant seedlings and remove early sprouts of weedy grasses. Lots of helping hands will be needed, so come out and show your park some love.

This is a family-friendly project. Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Adult chaperones are required for youth under the age of 15.

Age, Skills, What to Bring:

• Age requirement varies by project. Read our Youth Policy Guidelines (PDF) for youth under the age of 15.

• Bring your completed Volunteer Agreement Form (PDF). Volunteers under the age of 18 must have the parent/guardian approval section signed.

• Wear clothes that can get dirty. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required. Bring layers for changing weather and rain gear if necessary.

• Bring a personal water bottle and sunscreen.

• No experience necessary. Training and tools will be provided. Fulfills community service requirements.
