Pride Month is a time to take pride and recognize the impact our LGBT community has made in the world we live in. The San Francisco Park Stewardship Program welcomes you to join our special ‘Pride In Your Parks program where we hope to create a safe space to celebrate our LGBT community. We will be spending the morning restoring indigenous plant habitat, enjoying the Pacific Ocean views, rejoicing in who we are, and taking pride in the work we all do together to make our parks a beautiful place for all.

AGE, SKILLS, WHAT TO BRING:

• Age requirement varies by project. Read our Youth Policy Guidelines (PDF)for youth under the age of 15.

• Bring your completed Volunteer Agreement Form (PDF). Volunteers under the age of 18 must have the parent/guardian approval section signed.

• Wear clothes that can get dirty. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required. Bring layers for changing weather and rain gear if necessary.

• Bring a personal water bottle and sunscreen.

• No experience necessary. Training and tools will be provided. Fulfills community service requirements.
