Skyline College
Description:
We will be working at nearby national park sites--Sweeney Ridge or Mori Point--to help protect rare and endangered wildlife species. Be prepared to spend the event outdoors in variable weather (bring sunscreen, hat, jackets, long pants, and close-toed shoes). We may take a short hike on or off-trail and work with hand tools while kneeling or sitting on uneven ground. Tools and training are provided. There is no restroom at the Sweeney Ridge meeting location. Please contact Amy at achong@parksconservancy.org with accessibility requests.
Transportation Notes:
We will meet on campus and either hike or provide a shuttle to our project site. Please be prepared to wear a mask inside our vehicles.
Required Forms:
- New volunteers will need to complete Volunteer Agreement Forms - your project leader will have the forms on-site for you to complete at the beginning of the event.
- For participants under 18: each participant needs to bring their own Volunteer Agreement Forms with a parent/guardian signature.
- If a parent/guardian will not be on-site to sign the forms, please reach out to Amy Chong at achong@parksconservancy.org to receive a copy of the agreement form to print, complete, and sign ahead of time.
