Frequently Asked Questions

To donate or become a member for the first time, visit the donation page online and choose a contribution amount that’s right for you. Supporters who give $50 or more are eligible to receive membership benefits, including special discounts, invitations to exclusive events, and more. 

To renew your existing membership, please access the renewal form online. 

You may also join or renew by phone or mail:

If you recently joined or renewed your membership, you should expect to receive your membership card and tax acknowledgement letter within 2 weeks. If you are a current member and make an additional gift to the Parks Conservancy, you will not receive an updated membership card. Please note that gifts below $50 are not eligible for member benefits.

If you are receiving multiple emails, please open the first email you received. The unsubscribe link is located at the bottom of that message.

Yes! We occasionally reach out to members via text message to get your input, inform you about exciting member news, and let you know about matching gift opportunities, etc. It is really the membership team sending messages and answering your responses. 

If you no longer wish to receive these messages, simply reply “STOP” or “UNSUBSCRIBE” to the text message, and you will no longer receive messages from us.

New and renewing members receive address labels once per year. Labels are mailed on a quarterly basis. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to process requests for additional labels at this time.

If you have donated recently or are a Golden Gate Keeper or you recently joined or donated, you may disregard the letter or email. Occasionally, our communications are sent after a donation, or renewal has already been processed.
