Become a B.A.R.K. Ranger Program Ambassador Volunteer! Last year, we launched the Presidio B.A.R.K. Ranger program with the aim to foster a stronger relationship between the Presidio and dog owners/walkers. This year, we’re seeking dog-lovers to join the first B.A.R.K. Ranger Program Ambassador Volunteer team. Volunteers will increase public understanding of the park’s dog policies and best practices, empowering visitors to become park stewards and community ambassadors. Volunteers who love or own dogs and enjoy conversing with people, being outside in nature, and sharing their knowledge with others should enjoy this opportunity. Trainings will begin in early March.
